Alejandra Cuestas-Jaimes, Workers' Rights Attorney

Alejandra Cuestas-Jaimes has been La Raza’s Workers’ Rights Attorney and Program Coordinator since May 2015. She is a lawyer with several years of international experience in: Project Finance, Development Banking (public-private partnership transactions for infrastructure development), Power Purchase Agreements, Engineering, Procurement and Construction Energy Contracts, Intellectual Property, Operational Risk, Money Laundering and Compliance.

She brings effective skills in Contract Negotiation, Analytical Thinking and Developing Partnerships with business units to La Raza. Ms. Cuestas is admitted to the California Bar Association and is able to practice in Mexico. She has a Juris Doctorate from the Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México and received her LLM from Harvard Law School.
