The Youth Law Project promoted the educational opportunities for 1200 youth and their parents by providing direct legal representation designed to keep youth in schools, in programs that benefit them, and out of the criminal justice system. The Project conducts extensive workshops to help students succeed in school and to prevent violence. The Project also works to promote policy changes in the interest of youth, including efforts to create safe schools, protect access to due process for children in school discipline cases, and promote more nurturing environments in schools.
