HOW DO I HIRE WORKERS?
To hire laborers, call (415)252-5375 or 5376 during our business hours: 7am-1pm, Mon-Fri, 7am-12pm, Sat. Call up to an hour prior to reserve reliable workers who are available 7 days/week, at all hours, at rates of $12-15/hr.
The Day Labor Program provides reliable workers for moving, hauling, gardening, clean-up, set-up, painting, security, and more at rates of $15.00/hr, with a 3hr/$50 minimum.
Our Women's Collective [which can also be reached at (415) 252-5375 or 5376] requires only one day advanced notice. Collective members specialize in cleaning, cooking, and childcare at rates of $15/hr, with 3hr/$60 minimum (discounts may apply).
For positions within the City of San Francisco, workers can provide their own transportation or you may pick them up from the program. For jobs outside of city limits, you may be asked to provide transportation or cover the cost of public transportation. Employers are expected to pay the workers directly, immediately following the completion of the job.
You can also stop by our convenient location at 3358 Cesar Chavez Street at (near the corner of Mission) in the San Francisco Mission District to hire laborers.
